About The Fairbanks Fencing Club
(FFC)
- Welcome!
- Fencing is a sport for life and our intention is to
help you to have a rewarding experience while fencing.
Our club has programs for the beginner, recreational and
competitive fencer. Please be sure to take note of our
guidelines and rules as we have established these
policies to ensure your safety and enjoyment of the sport
for years to come.
- Club Hours
- FFC is open for recreational fencing from 6:00 pm
until 8:30 pm Mondays and Thursdays. Please contact us
for current class schedules and times

- ALL fencers not taking the Introduction to
Fencing class must be a current USFA member.
- Dues are due for the coming month at the first of
the month.
- The Introduction to Fencing class fee
includes a glove and underarm vest (plastron) for the
new fencer.
- The Fairbanks Fencing Club does not supply
electric equipment.
- Students who have completed 2 months of training
will need to become members of the USFA.
- Students who have been with the club for 2 months
are encouraged to purchase their own fencing gear;
after two months there will be a $10.00 per month
rental fee for a jacket and mask.
- Club activities will be cancelled when the
temperature, as reported at the Fairbanks
International Airport, reaches 40 degrees below zero
(-40).
